Azure Migration - AP Production Mar 16, 2024 08:00-16:00 PDT
Intapp cloud solutions in the AP region that are still in AWS (Risk, Flow, Time, IIS, Tech Foundation Services) will be migrating to Azure according to the following schedule:

- Sandbox migration: March 2, 2024 | 8:00 a.m. PST
- Production migration: March 16, 2024 | 8:00 a.m. PDT

SERVICE IMPACT
There will be a downtime for all Intapp services running in both AWS and Azure during the migration that can occur any time after the migration start is announced via the status site. The list of services impacted by this maintenance includes: DealCloud for Legal (formerly OnePlace), Risk, Flow, Time, IIS, Tech Foundation Services.

Please note that DealCloud for Legal clients are already running on the Azure platform but will experience downtime in order for the migration of other services to occur.

Do not perform any import/export actions or make any changes during the migration window, which is estimated to be up to 8 hours. Please communicate this information to all users.

We will send In Progress and Completion notifications consistent with regular maintenance windows.

A change to the Risk (Conflicts/Intake/Flow/Terms/External Forms) email notification service will take place during the 60 minute maintenance window. This will not impact access to any sandbox tenants and will happen in the background. After the change is applied, the email address that notifications are sent from will be modified.

After the change is implemented, the email address that sends notifications to recipients will be different:

Old:
- EU/US: openapp@.opensandbox2.intapp.com

New:

- US: @mailus.opensandbox2.intapp.com

From this point forward, all notification types will be sent from the new email address:

- Generic Notifications
- Conflicts Notifications
- Replies to Conflicts Notifications (Conflicts Conversation Tracking; on by default)
- Request Notifications
- Replies to Request Notifications (Request Conversation Tracking; if enabled)

For a period of 3 months, replies to the (old) sender email address (e.g. replies to a Conflicts Report notification or Request notification) will be treated normally and retained in Report and Request Conversation tracking. After that backwards compatibility period, replies to the (old) sender email will NOT be ingested by the application for conversation tracking.

ACTION ITEMS
- If the (old) legacy sending address is whitelisted for security purposes in your email infrastructure (Exchange, Google, et al) it should be updated with the new address

- Email notification templates should be audited and updated in case “From:” field values are customized or implemented in a non-standard way

- Un-tracked reply emails will only impact Requests and Conflict Report notifications that are greater than 90 days old or ongoing for more than 90 days - Active Requests and Conflicts Reports can be identified by the respective grid pages
