SERVICE IMPACT 

- Client action required: none.

- Usage impact: The maintenance will incur downtime. Website users may be logged out. Desktop users can work in offline mode during this time and will not be logged out. Do not execute bulk data upload during the maintenance. Disconnection will last up to 2 hours and can occur any time after the maintenance start is announced via the status site. During the upgrade users will have synchronization and login errors.

Extended Terms Compliance

Intapp Time now supports 8 Intapp Terms templates for enforcement of billing compliance. Time Desktop now enforces the following additional Terms templates:

· Timekeeper Title Validation

· Prevent Travel Time

With the Timekeeper Title Validation template in effect for a matter, timekeepers who do not meet approved title requirements of the client will receive a confirmation prompt upon release at point of entry. Similarly, with the Prevent Travel Time template in effect, the entry narrative will highlight any block words matching travel activities that could result in rejection of a bill. Prevent Travel Time block words are configurable globally by the admin to match the firm’s best practice. By enabling timekeepers to comply with the terms of the OCG, the firm is better able to avoid bill rejections, write offs and maintain a good client relationship. To receive enforcement of these templates, users must run the updated Time Desktop version 2022.2.1.0.

Notes pane

With Intapp Terms compliance, it is possible for firms to populate a robust set of billing instructions for display in the Time desktop entry form. Notes and Billing instructions now display in a flyout panel for a better user experience and context while navigating the entry form. The flyout can be configured to popup on demand using an indicator icon or remain persistent and contextual as the timekeeper enters relevant data in the entry. The flyout panel replaces inline notes in the entry form, templates, timers, split and transfer screens across the application.

Timer Snap

The Time desktop Timer panel now uses the Windows snap functionality for docking in Windows. Windows snap is the familiar Windows behavior for arranging windows on the desktop. Using Windows Snap it is now possible to easily dock the Timer panel on the left, upper left, right and upper right as well as maximize using the mouse, keyboard and snap assist thumbnails. Windows snap does not disturb user icon arrangements, which is very useful on dual monitor setups.

Logon environment cache

At logoff, Time desktop now remembers the cloud environment chosen by the user at logon for a smoother login experience. Upon logout, the user does not need to reenter the environment if present. They can simply enter their password to complete logon without need to reenter their email address. This is very useful for firm partnerships with multiple tenants, such as swiss verein arrangements.

Release All stop execution

The Admin Release All screen now includes a stop execution option for emergency job control. Once an entry release job is begun, if necessary, the admin can stop execution at any time before it finishes processing by clicking the stop link on the job. The job will be terminated before processing additional entries in the event the job was unintended despite earlier confirmation.
